Officers from the Baltimore City Police Department responded to the 2000 block of East North Avenue at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, where there was a report of a 17-year-old who had been shot in the thigh.
Upon arrival, officials say that officers found the teen, who was treated for potentially life-threatening injuries until paramedics arrived to transport him to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.
He was listed in critical condition, according to the most recent update from a police spokesperson on Monday, Nov. 28.
A second victim, officials noted, a 41-year-old woman, was also located in the area of the 1800 block of North Chester Street with a gunshot wound to her shoulder. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital.
The investigation into the shootings is ongoing.
